Intimacy Coordination is a fresh and exciting profession in the film and television industry. This emerging discipline focuses on supporting crew, but especially cast, in creating scenes with nudity and physical intimacy. Intimacy Coordinators prioritize performers' ongoing consent in these scenes, and ensures their boundaries are being respected while the director's vision is being realized in the most fulsome way possible. Intimacy Coordinators also help to choreograph scenes with nudity and intimacy, and are trained in the mechanics of making intimate moments shine onscreen.

Andrea is passionate about creating a consent-forward culture for on-screen performers. She has trained with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators and Intimacy Coordinators Canada, and has been working as a professional Intimacy Coordinator since 2021. In 2025, Andrea and two other Winnipeg-based Intimacy Coordinators formed Prairie Intimacy Coordinators (PIC), a collective to support scenes with nudity and physical intimacy in Manitoba's film and television industry . This collective has become the go-to organization for Intimacy Coordination in Manitoba's busy on-screen industry, and together they have worked on feature films, short films, and television series. Their projects have included Orphan: First Kill, Nobody 2, Love Hurts, SkyMed, The Porter, The Spencer Sisters, Winner and Clown in a Cornfield.
